Asian Qualification

Group 9
Indonesia is drawn in Group 9 of ten groups of qualifying rounds along
with China PR, Cambodia, and Maldives. The group will play home-and-away
matches.
AFC (Asian Football Confederation) divides Asian countries into four
different tiers, or levels. One country from each tier will be put in
a group for the qualifying round, and only the top team in every group
will advance to the next round.
