Dear fellow football fans,
Welcome to SENAYAN, a website dedicated
to Indonesian football.
I decided to make this website because,
frankly, I wanted to learn how to build a website. This is my first
ever, and I have to tell you, it's harder than I thought.
I picked Indonesian football as
the theme because I love football. I'm a football player myself, not
too good, though. Often times, I had a hard time finding information
about the Indonesian football league and Indonesian football in general.
Oh yeah, there are a lot of football sites out there made by Indonesians,
but most of them are focusing on European football. Very little is spared
for their own national football. Let alone the ones available in English
And that's what this site is all
about. You won't read on how Andriy Shevchenko scored his last hattrick,
or on how Manchester United won the Premiership for the zillionth time,
or not even on any distant thing about Asian stars, like Hidetoshi Nakata.
But you will read news about Indonesian football here, about our national
players, and all the other nitty bitty stuff that no other websites
would care about. I surely don't expect many people will come to this
website, but who knows, the ones who do come might find it interesting.
I also opted to make this website
available in English, since there are already many sites about Indonesian
football in Indonesian. So, what's the point of making another one?
Besides, many Indonesians know English well, while obviously not too
many foreigners understand Bahasa Indonesia, hence the choice of language
for this website.

or whatever, make sure you drop by at my Guestbook, or Forum, or just
e-mail me. I'll try my best to respond to any of them.
On a last note, I just want to say
that all information provided here are courtesy of other Indonesian
websites. I translate the news from Indonesian to English, and please
forgive me if the news is one or two days late. I'm working by myself
on this website, and still attending college and working at the same
time.
